Potato bread

So easy to make and so delicious! It is enough for two people, but if you are thinking to have a friends or the family for dinner, then you can increase the quantity of the products.

I like it hot only with a butter, but it is up to you how you will consume it 🙂

Necessary products:

225 gr. Of flour with raising agent;
1/2 tsp salt;
1/4 tsp mustard powder;
1 1/2 tsp baking powder;
30 gr. Butter, cut into small pieces;
4 tablespoons semi-skimmed milk;
170 gr. mashed potatoes;

More:

Milk or beaten egg to glaze;
2 tsp medium large oatmeal;

Preparation:

Heat the oven to 220C/390F.
Sift the flour, salt, baking powder and mustard. Add the butter and rub it using the warmth of your hands until you get the consistency of breadcrumbs.
In another bowl, pour the milk and mash potatoes and mix. Add the mixture to the dry ingredients and mix with a fork. If necessary, add another 1-2 tablespoons fresh milk to get a soft dough.
Knead on floured counter top quickly dough a few seconds until fasting and boring in a round shape with a diameter of 15 cm and a thickness of about 2 cm. Put it in a buttered baking dish and, using a sharp knife, cut 6 triangular pieces (halves or two very hungry :)).
Greased loaf with milk or beaten egg and sprinkle with oats. Bake for 15-20min until well rise and become golden brown.
Remove from the pan and brake into pieces and smeared a little butter!
You can store up to three days in a closed box.
