Puff pastry parmesan straws


Ingredients for Puff cigars:

1 large package puff pastry – 2 leaves;
2 eggs;
spices if desired;
grated parmesan finely;
For sweet cigar will need less sugar, cinnamon and coconut.

Leave the dough to unfreeze at room temperature.
Beat the eggs in a bowl.
Spread the sheets puff pastry and brush them with the eggs.

Spread the spices and grated parmesan cheese over to the one puff leave and sugar, cinnamon and coconut over to the oter one.

Take a sharp knife and cut into strips, twist each strip into a spiral and transfer to parchment-lined baking sheets, 1 inch apart. Using your thumb, press ends of strips onto parchment to prevent unraveling during baking.
When you’re finished bake as directed on the package until nice golden color.
