It’s not enough to tell you that this is so far the easiest bread I have ever made, but I think that I can be totally called one of the most delicious! Even my mom loved it! And, sure as hell, she is my biggest critic!
I’m in love with any bread or pasta! There was a time a long ago, when I decided to keep a diet and during those few years of, ok not just diet, it was most likely as my personal food regime that I made and no pasta, bread, sweet or fried was allowed. However this was the way to fell healthy and for sure it wasn’t like a torture.
But now…well now i’m a total gourmand! I eat everything that I want and I like. And I can tell you that I have traveled a lot, and only if I compare this bread with french croissant, the croissant will win 🙂
See what you need to prepare it and hurry to the store:
- 4 cups sifted flour;
- 1 tsp salt;
- 1.5 tsp baking soda;
- 2 cups yogurt;
- Black sesame to sprinkle;
Heat the oven to 200C.
Mix the flour, salt and baking soda and stir.
Pour the yogurt and stir with a fork so you can form dough.
Kneading on two, three /which in Bulgaria means that you do not need to knead a lot/ only to form a nice shape of the bread.
The idea is to be kneading less as possible.
Put baking paper and place the bread onto it.
Make a few diagonal cut with a knife and sprinkle the black sesame onto the dough.
Bake for about 45-50min until dry stick come out.
Once it’s ready, leave it to cool on a metal rack.
Bon apetit and until the next time!
